VISIONCAST, Inc. is the corporate identity repsenting Rick Benjamin’s many on-air, consulting, and corporate video endeavors.

After TNN was sold and rebranded at the end of 2000, Rick left the network and began a new phase of his career on SPEED channel, the former Speedvision. Rick began as the play-by-play host of the GRAND-AM sports car series, the USAR Pro Cup series, and other motorsports properties on SPEED in 2001; he also joined NBC Sports as the play-by-play host of the network’s coverage of the American Le Mans series. Rick formed Visioncast as the contractor company supplying his announcing services at that same time.

Rick’s portfolio grew quickly in 2001, adding responsibilities as executive producer and packager for DIRT Motorsports’ television programming, which Rick placed and managed on SPEED for four seasons.

After two seasons as host of the USAR Pro Cup stock car events on SPEED, Rick and Visioncast orchestrated the marriage of BFGoodrich tires and USAR, with BFG continuing today as USAR's exclusive tire supplier. The move brought radial tire technology to one of the country's premier short track stock car series.

Visioncast’s corporate video endeavors continue to grow, with the company now handling extensive video production work for companies like UPS, Ingersoll Rand, Yamaha Marine, Cisco Systems, Performance Friction Brakes, and others.

Beginning in 2004 and continuing through its merger with the Indy Racing League in 2008, Rick achieved a new level of notoriety in motorsports broadcasting when he took over as the lead host and play-by-play voice of the Champ car world series, along with its support series the Atlantic Championship and the Trans Am Tour. Champ car raced across North America and in Australia as the successor to CART; Rick’s work appeared on CBS, NBC, ABC, ESPN, SPEED, and Spike TV during those years.

In addition, through Visioncast, Rick consults with a variety of motorsports entities today, helping them create outstanding value for their series, tracks, and corporate marketing partners. Visioncast is ready to put its twenty-plus years of experience in this arena to work for your company today. Visioncast also provides career media coaching for drivers and key race team personnel.

In 2010, Rick and Visioncast will provide services for the American Speed Association, Mazda, HDNet, SIRIUS satellite radio, the Carolina Panthers, and a host of other projects and properties.
